With great personal commitment, the transport company was founded in 1960 by Josef Heregger together with his wife Margarethe. This laid the foundation for the present-day internationally active transport company.
In its early years, the company focuses on gravel and construction material transports. In 1976, the first long-distance journeys are undertaken, and just 2 years later, transports to Saudi Arabia are carried out.
Monika Hassler, the daughter of the company founder, joins the company and gradually expands the business.
In Lienz, the first logistics hall with 1,000 m^2 and direct rail connection is put into operation. In addition to the transport business, the company expands in the field of logistics.
After an incurable illness, Monika Hassler passes away, and so, in 2002, son Christian Hassler takes over the management of the company together with his wife Karoline.
With an area of 3,000 m^2, the second logistics hall is opened. The company and its scope of activities continue to grow steadily.
A long-awaited wish of Christian comes true with the company's own gas station.
The third logistics hall offers approximately 5,000 m^2 of storage space. In addition, the fleet is continuously modernized and expanded, making the company one of the largest businesses in Upper Carinthia.
The company places importance on cleanliness and resource conservation. Therefore, the in-house washing facility with an integrated water treatment system is an asset to the daily work routine.
In September 2020, the new in-house workshop is inaugurated. All necessary repairs and service work on the fleet can be carried out directly on-site, significantly increasing the readiness of the vehicles.
Son Christoph Hassler joined the family business in 2015 and is now a partner and managing director.
The fast-charging station complements the existing E-charging stations. The power supply is ensured by the 1.2 MW photovoltaic system, which was expanded this year with additional PV modules on the south side of the logistics halls.
